Any videos of the car as standard then an after with the CAI fitted?

What's the performance side of this like? Just been looking into getting a CAI that's all and many people seem to rate the likes of Revo/ITG/Evoms but they're also a canny bit pricey too except the Evoms that's okay.. That's at a more friendlier cost compare to a Revo CAI.. I know it's an all in one peice which looks better and can pay more for the cam coated one but is it really needed?.. I don't know

How do you find your CAI since fitted and what gains have you gotten from it? Same as any other CAI? Is basically what I'm asking/saying haha

The car feels a lot smoother on acceleration and makes an awesome wooooshh noise :p I didn't get a before and after because I was too excited to fit it haha. I'm not sure what the other brands are like.I went for this one because it suited my budget and to be honest, I wouldn't spend too much on an intake.

Haha I'm in the same boat as you as I don't fancy spending £400+ for an intake.. Looking at either the Evoms which some say is a bit "chavvy" sounding but after watching jays vid he made of his I don't agree I think it's fine.. Orr something like a Pflow? Nuespeed I think? Need to spend a bit more time looking and weighing up my options  :happy2:

I'll do it tomorrow if I get time. Would be a lot easier if I could upload from my phone haha. I like that the autotech one comes with a K&N filter... I really can't complain about the quality of it

I've just fitted a K&N CAI kit and I can't fault it.
And it only cost £200 which I didn't think was too bad. And certainly a lot cheaper than others which are doing exactly the same thing.
You also get a good set of fitting instructions.

Agree with the above also. Car does seem smoother and pulls better.

I'll have a neuspeed p-Flo intake for sale from next week for a very good price

Only 6 weeks old as well.

Got it on my mk2 cupra at the minute but will fit mk5 golfs with either k03/04

I think your cai kit is similar to my neuspeed mate

Sound awesome don't they...... Also it seems to pull better than what it does with standard airbox

Are they all prone to that not very nice sounding whistle? I've heard that the dbilas one is a good Intake but quite prone to that whistle sound? And apparently same with the Pflow mentioned above? Correct me if I'm wrong  :happy2:

I don't get no whistle  sound with mine mate, to be honest I've heard of that issue before with some people.

I'd say that could be a leak though were the intake pipes not seated/tightened into the silicone reducer hose on turbo inlet.

Could be wrong though lol

I don't get a whistle, it's just a loud sucking sound  a monkey could fit one of these intakes but I was quite particular when it came to sealing the silicone hose properlym even checked it today and it had loosened a bit
