Boost pipe part number and rough price
« on: June 22, 2014, 09:05:25 pm »
Im going to replace one of my boost pipes because i think its leaking,
The pipe is one the driverside at the bottom, theres a metal boost
Pipe then, it clips into a rubber boost hose,
Its the rubber pipe i think is leaking near the clips,
Does anyone know the part number for this pipe and how much they roughly cost thanks

O ring seals can be got separately.
I suggest you change them first before getting the new IC hose as the hose isn't cheap when compare to the cost of the o rings (around £3.50)

Cheers mate, the pipe looks in decent condition tbh hardly any movement and clips all seem fine, so guessing it could be the seals, u checked the dv calce on sunday and its rev g, and looks almost new, car seems to boost but just a tad laggy and seems to make more woooooassttt noise!!! Than used to

If anyone's interested I found the part no's for the 2.0 tdi (BKD) as I have the same issue:
O-ring going into intercooler on the passenger side 2 X 3C0 145 117H - 61.90mm
the other side of this pipe 4 X 3C0 145 117F 57.85mm
O-ring turbo to metal intercooler pipe 2 X 3C0 145 117 - 43.95mm

Thanks to mortygttdi as he posted this info in another thread.
