Looks well buddy, any links to the switches you used?
Thanks for the comment. These are the switches I used.

Thanks, had the rear disc n pads changed. brakes feel a lot better now, had a problem with the drivers side caliper piston due to corrosion it wouldn't screw back in :fighting:. In the end the caliper had to be removed luckily scotch brite removed the corrosion and the piston screwed in fine instead of a new caliper.

There's an awful amount of corrosion judging by your pictures. I'd be checking the caliper and lines for fluid leak as this could be what's causing all that paint to flake off. The caliper does look better for a lick of paint though.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Did you take them off to paint or leave them on? What did you use? Mine are in desperate need of painting.

I did check the caliper and lines for leaks there isn't any leaks, I think corrosion had just set into that 1 caliper. The caliper carrier on that corner was in good condition and the other the other 3 calipers were fine. I'm going to replace that caliper in the new year.

Might also be the piston seals, worth taking the disc and pads off to inspect it. Don't want that hard work ruined! :happy2:

I didn't take them off, I used savage brake caliper paint kit.

I had the pads and disks replaced 3 weeks ago and they never mentioned any leaks. I'll keep an eye out for any leaks.

So it's been a while since since my last update not really done many things over winter due to an expensive crimbo also lost the love even thought about selling up. In March it was service time after been serviced the love started to come back as it felt much smoother and responsive. Yesterday woke up to a flat tyre which was changed in January I could of cried after taking the wheel off found it was the inside bead which was the cause of the leak and has now being fixed. Today made a start on refurbing the wheels.

Couldn't wait to re-fit them.

Fitted, got new centre caps on order

1st wheel went fine but on the 2nd went a bit pete tong, any idea on what caused this?
