Ap racing brake setup and wheel help please

Hi all,
I hope I'm posting in the right place but I can't seem to find any answers...
I've got a ap racing 7040 6 pot caliper setup with 362mm discs.
Does anyone have any experience in what wheels will fit?
I want to keep to 18x8 wheels and was told that any wheel with et40 or larger should fit
Can anyone confirm this?
The previous owner ran bbs sr 18x8 wheels.
I've heard that the OZ Superlagerra 18x8 and vw racing 18x8should fit but would like to have some clarification on what I can use!

If you are going to track your car, I would go with team dynamics 1.2. Loads of room for brakes, cheapish, lightish and strong. All the wheels you mentioned are gonna be quite pricey, which isnt really what you want for bashing around a track.

I did look at them originally, however, everyone seems to have them.
Plus 2kg rotational unstrung mass makes a huge difference!
The Volks re30 club sport are around 6kg per wheel and the alleggerita is around 7.5kg per wheel. All compared to the 9.5kg team dynamics. We will see though. Fancied something different. Even though they are double the price new, I know of some second hand ones at decent prices. Which come to the same price as the dynamics!
