Ive never heard of anyone needing one with these engines, that is including race teams running on slicks.

Having oil pressure issues? The newer Tsi engine is known to be sh*t for oil starvation on track  :sick:

No all good, was going to do the pick up pipe, and while it was of, was thinking of adding a Baffled sump.... future proof !  :laugh:

read online last night after seeing this post  that it seems only the scoobies boys really struggle with the oil issue. think there made with them from the factory now? someone feel free to correct me, the interweb has all sorts of mixed answers for every question, no one likes scoobies anyway :laugh:

Due to the size of the oil pump and balance shafts, it's not possible to baffle the sumps.

Only way to do so is to convert to a 1.8T oil pump and use a baffled 1.8T sump.
