Really can't go wrong with 1.2's can you, make cars look great! Did you notice a difference in how the car drove when you changed from the monza's to these?

I agree mate I think 1.2s suit most cars, much lighter when I picked them up I nearly threw them in the air ha! They sit abit wider than the monzas about 6mm I think so handling feels a little bit better.

Another update, got a few things done on the gti last week ready for Croft track time.

It was a great day and a good turn out, anyway here's a list of things I got done with pics...

Oil and filter change

Ngk platinum plugs

Ferodo rear pads

Hel braided lines

Continental front tyres

Tracking done

N/s drop link

Check Dv

Adjust the exhaust to get the tips to sit nice and flush

Clean and enjoy!

What a difference this has made the brakes actually feel like they have stopping power, and the engine feels so much healthier and seems to boost stronger.

Plugs were definitely ready!

A photo I found from croft with me in the background.

Glad my old build thread gave you ideas  :happy2: I sold my eddy a few months back and bought something cheap to run around in as were buying our first house but now I want a mk5 again and if I bought a ed30 again I'd compare it to much to the old revo one so I'll build a k03 gti this time round  :innocent:

What's next for this mate ?

You did have a lovely eddy mate gutted to see it go. I'm always looking at them to buy but the value for money with a k03 gti and the same situation with looking for our first house I need to keep mine!
Next up some coilovers as I think my front shocks are ready then more power stage 2+.
Good luck with finding the right Gti jake will you be modding or trying to hold back?!
