Scratch on new tints.

Got the car windows tinted. Front drivers side has about 15 to 20mm scratch on the tint like a stanley blade has cought it

Took it back to tinter and he said its passable they wouldn't change it but after a bit of moaning he agreed to change it.

Is he at it or would that be passable?

After paying £130 i dont expect that and tbh i find it a bit cheeky he even tried to get out re doing it.

Just wanted to hear other opinions incase its just me being a knob.

If I had just paid to have my windows tinted i'd expect them to be spotless no scratches or marks anywhere.

Thats what i expected aswell.

Think he was trying his luck, then i got the usual hes busy so need to wait ages to get it changed. Sure one window wouldn't take long.

Only appointment he has is an 8am appointment when he knows i stay a good bit away.

Must of been hoping you wouldn't notice the scratch, just case him until he gets it done as 1 window will not take long at all.

Unless they are UV tints, then take them off anyways as they're illegal on the front.

Didn't know that. It was the lowest tint you could get can't even tell their tints. But i believed they were legal as i did say to the guy i wanted whatever was legal on the front.
