I think it is pretty much accepted that the THS intecrooler is the finest product you can buy for the MK5
I went down the route of getting an S3 intercooler because they are good for 500hp but then later on added a Twintercooler as this enabled me to up the timing to 7 and eek a bit more top end power, even though i did lose 10lb ft ot torque lower down because of the greater volume of air.
Is there any mileage at all in swapping my current set up to the THS as will probably pull a bit better lower down, but maybe my current set up is better suited to hot summer days like we are having?
Has anyone had both set ups on their car at all?
