Top Cat:
The DSG map would be my last purchase, Unless you plan on shooting up and down the pod or driving on the limit often.
Have a read of what it actually does for the DSG before you purchase it. To me its when you have done most every other mod going and you are trying to find that little bit extra. If you are new to a DSG box then i am pretty sure you wouldn't even notice anything different from what it is now. :happy2:
I am not saying its no good by the way just that its not going to transform your car at the stage your at now with it.

Hmm?! Any second opinions on this?! Having spoke to JBS in Yorkshire they claim its a MUST with the DSG, and gives you launch control etc...
Which Downpipe and Hi-Flow Cats will fit onto the Milltek Non-Res Cat-Back?! Just the Milly or do I have other options?!
Janner_Sy:
you have lots of other options. i think nearly all the kits will interfit with eachother and if they dont its a case of using a reducer which is an easy job to fit.
miltek are not your only option. they were just one of the earliest companies to develop an exhaust for the TFSI and are also a little more expensive as well.
other options are piperwerx, blueflame, piper. some times internet sies are not upto date so a phone call would be advised

Thanks man...
I'm not sure how Milltek sit with you guys, but I have bad times with em on the VXR...the Downpipes required revising and replaced as the craked!!!
I'll have a look about, as you said Milltek at the more costly!
Just want to know my options as I have the Milltek Cat-Back, but if I can get any Downpipe and Hi-Flow Cat to work with it I'll lok into it ;)
Any ideas on which ones give better performance?! Again in the VXR is was known that the Milltek performed poor when tuning...the Remus showed best gains!
Janner_Sy:
miltek had issues of the flexi part of the exhaust was breaking due to the amount of engin rock inherent in the TFSI due to the soft engine mounts.
iirc miltek now supply their DPs with an ECS lower engine mount insert to solve this
