Love your build!
great build thread buddy...a quick one reference..your R32 milltek. you had a milltek jet system on the car before you changed it. I take it the centre pipe is the same on both systems ....
Found some more rust...Went to Performance Direct in Barnsley this morning:Think the sump plug on the new sump is leaking:Anyway, car came back with new shoes:Put another short plate on:Took a few more snaps:
Are the grills painted black on this? Debating painting mine but unsure if it'll look too much on red!

On to today then, this morning I decided that I would spend the day giving it a detail.I started with a wash and then clay, following that I gave it a machine polish using a couple of different compounds of Menzerna polish on a couple of different pads. The whole car was waxed with Collinite 476s, glass cleaned with Autoglym glass polish, exhaust with Autosol and trims were treated with Aerospace 303. After the initial wash:Here you can see some swirling/defects in the paint:After claying:Again you can see defects in the paint in direct sunlight:Most of the front grills were removed for cleaning:Peek-a-boo:After the first pass:I also tackled the headlights which were covered in white spots when the lights are on. Much better now:Some finished snaps:A lot of pictures, but this is my personal favourite:
