Candy White Edition 30 & Helios Blue Mk2 GTI

Well I spent 4 hours giving the the interior a good clean, external Wash and a coat of red mist tropical and its came up a treat !

I also fitted and made up a backing plate for the edition 30+ badges and finally got my private numberplate made up with some nice single layer pressed metal plates !

I've also fitted a candy white richbrook twist off tax disc holder and got a custom red edition 30 badge made up and fitted to the Back, and I'm well happy with the results, no photos though I tryed but because of the bright light thought the window it was a no go ! ( with the I phone anyway )



Ill get a picture of the rear badge up once I've removed the number plate via photo shop.

The MK2 GTI finally left the the garage for the first time in years after replacing 70 + items, the occasion was  MOT time and it Passed !!! im so happy as i really wanted it to be ok so i could get it on the road for the 1st of may with out needing to do any more work on it. The advisorys were crack in window (New window being picked up tomoz) and the lights needed adjusted which was technically a fail but the MOT center adjusted them for free, cheers guys 1

The car has been ze barted from new and is only a two owner car. Every panel has original paint work, factory swedge lines, only 3 spots of rust on the full car (very small - Finger nail sized) and a massive history file !. Even recipts from any bulb changes have been retained. Unfortunately the work ive done isnt really visible the only two mods ive really done so far are smoked hellas and coilovers as i wanted to concentrate on getting the car to a good standard before i spent money on making it the was i wanted it.

I treated my mk2 to another set of wheels, and gave them a refurb.
Some 15" Borbet As, ill get them on for when I tax it on the 1st of May I'm going to run with the hex caps at the moment but ill be ordering the borbet flat caps as soon as I'm back my holidays

That's lovely! The interior of the GTI absolutely trumps the Cupra's!

Love that RS too, been thinking of selling my Cupra K1 and getting one, but still too pricey for me at the moment
