Seán's Mk5 Gti. Pic heavy
« on: July 08, 2014, 10:02:55 pm »
Hi folks,

This is my first car with any real power so i am loving every minute of it  lol

Graphite blue mk5 gti 3dr (manual)
OEM spec:
Leather seats,
sunroof,
18 inch monzas
auto lights
rain sensor
tire pressure sensors
coming home/leaving lights

Mods So far:
K&N Panel filter
Full turbo back milltek (non res) with sports cat
Yellow lamin x'd fogs
Full front poly bush kit
Xcarlink in glovebox
Rear wheels spaced 15mm
Black front vw emblem.
Calipers painted red
Lowered on Eibach sportline springs
Pressed german plates

Im planning a stage 1 remap within the next month if i can get the cash together. I think with the milltek exhaust a remap would make a huge difference!   :driver:
perhaps then i will look into an intake but not sure would i see the benefits of one unless i was going for a stage 2?

Also want to get the monzas soda blasted and powder coated as the paint is peeling on one of them.

Other than that i just want to enjoy it

Pics

Also wet sanded my headlights the other day, they had that common hazy scum on the lens. Hoping to upgrade to projectors when the cash becomes available

Thanks for looking

Thank you sir

I never had leather seats before and was a bit wary about how i would find them. They are very comfy, even on long journeys.

Forgot a few bits last night:

Mk6 interior switches

Interior LED's

I'm from Dublin myself.

I'm actually calling into the dealer tomorrow to look for a few bits so I'll ask them then! Thanks

Not on autostadt yet but I'll probably join up in the future.

Keep me updated with any mods you do, I'll be uploading a build thread on mine in the next few days...

Its a nice colour mate, not the most common which was one of the first things that drew me to the car.
