Hello All !!

First post, was a memeber of the mk4 fourm under the same name. But sold my Vikki (mk4 gti AGU engine) to a new dubber, and spent what little money i have on a mk5 GTI.

I told the misses it was because it's safer, with moer airbars, ISO fix seats for when we have kids, and that I wouldn't slam it to the ground....

Any way on with the issue. So last night i was checking for boost leaks with my end cap and 5 PSI of pressure. I could here a leak about traced it back to the little black pipe going from the n80 valve, to the head (between the oil cap and the PCV system) if i remove and refit the connection it holds pressure for a bit, but as soon as you touch it it leaks again.

Can i just get a new pipe ? or find another rubber o ring?

any one had this issue on an AXX engine ?

LOVE YOU !!
There is no replacement for displacement....

So Halfords (is my only local car place near work) has the size above the O ring and the size below.

So i used the size above and used a small (like for fixing glasses small) flat head screw drive to it in to the hole
Gave it a few bounces off the rev limiter, tho at a stand still, and it didn't pop out.

Road test on the way home.....  :driver:

Feels better, but the air leak noise is still there on boost. Will have to get the compressor out again
