Jamies Black GTi
« on: March 18, 2014, 12:44:26 pm »
Hello.

Thought Id start a thread for the car im picking up tomorrow or saturday.

Its a Black Gti with 67k miles on the clock.
Has the convenience pack on it.
Full leathers.
Manual box.
6-disc changer.

My last car was a white Fiesta ZS tdci

This is the new car. Sorry for the lack of photos. Forgot to grab them before the dealer remove the car from the website.

I'll add more photos when i pick the car up.

Plans for the car are as follows.
-Coilovers
-Wheels (probably along the lines of Merc/3SDM/MAM wheels)
-Short Aerial
-Led bulbs all round
-Better headlights/convert to OEM projectors
-Lamin-x fogs
-Upgrade to RNS 510 headunit
-Possibly upgrade to highline clocks
-Cadburys purple seatbelts/small details around the car
-debadge/remove number plate
-put on shortened plates again

I also want the US spec running lights if anyones remotely close enough with software to do it for me?

That all i can think of for now although all plans for now are on the back burner until I buy the house i want.

Jamie

Hey,

Done a few little things today.

Removed all Gti badges front and rear

Also gave the exhast a little loving with some Autosol as it was looking a little dull.

Ordered a few little cheap things for it like new floor mats, new wipers, drivers side mirror indicator as the one on the car has been smashed off and and a blank for the rear wiper. Hopefully these turn up during the week.

Since ive had the car the exhaust has been quite loud above 30mph and today the engine management light came on, so have to get that checked out soon as i got a 3 month warranty when i bought the car.

For now im just enjoying it, its so much fun to drive.

Heres one last picture of it just now.

Sorry for the poor phone quality pics

Not updated this in a while, mainly cause theres no real progress.

Added a few little things, like wind deflector, yellow film on the fogs, and the bottle opener for the cup holder as a previous owner had taken the original.

Also finally got my personal plates put on.

When i took the front one off the plinth came off with it as the four clips were broken. No matters though, was gonna smooth it anyway and now need to get the front end sprayed again as some one has scratched right along the front corner of the bumper and wing.
