So picked up some recaros with matching rears and matching FB Audi steering wheel :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: to say I'm happy with them is an understatement  :happy2:

The transformation...

Gave the leather a quick once over with Car Chems leather care kit :happy2:

The seats were retrimmed by Edge Automotive. Need to get a few bits of my interior retrimmed to match to finish it off.

Have to be honest, not a fan of the interior. Doesn't work on the colour of car. Rest of the interior isn't bright enough and no ties to the exterior, for example wheels etc - looks like you've just bought a set of bright seats (which i guess you have) and bolted them in lol

not being harsh, so please don't take it as an insult or dig or anything. just my opinion. although the steering wheel is very nice!

The quality of the work looks good but they just look completely random sitting in the car, but I'm not a fan of bright interiors anyway they cheapen the look IMO

I think if you do some exterior parts in the same colour like the brakes and grill stripe it may look better

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course and as I said in my original post... "Need to get a few bits of my interior retrimmed to match to finish it off. " so I will be looking to get the leather sections in my door cards, arm rest, gear knob and gaitor and also maybe the handbrake cover retrimmed in blue. I know the colour won't be to everyone's taste, it is a bit loud and lairy, but I do like it (and I'm the only one that has too   ) the pictures are from my phones camera and the colour is slightly oversaturated for some reason, the seats are slightly paler in the flesh. As for the exterior I had thought about the stripe in the grill as it needs freshening up anyway because it's looking a bit faded. I've been trying to decide on a colour for my calipers as I currently have black S3 calipers on the front and red GTI calipers on the rear. I guess blue would be the best thing to go for now to tie in the interior.  :happy2:

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't realise anyone had commented on the thread. I've actually just bought a RS6 Avant so I probably won't be doing anything else to the Golf. I've got to look at the diverter valve and try see if I can get some of the dings sorted out and then it will probably be going up for sale.
