Hi all,

I just got a 2007 (07 plate) GT TDI Golf.
I followed the youtube vid to remove the radio, which involves removing the center of the dash with 2 air vents.

I installed my Sony single din (piggy backed a feed from ignition fuse) and re assembled the dash.

I just noticed that the center vents are not blowing any air.
Is there a certain way the dash is meant to be re assembled to have these working (correctly) ?

I will be taking it appart tomorrow but would like to try to get some tips on what to look for before I do.

Thanks
Dave

Only guessing but I suspect the plastic lever on the top vent that opens and closes the vent flap has come off leaving the vent permanently open.
Without traction power is nothing!
