Okay cool . I'm getting the OEM kit but sold by ECS . Does Blau parts come with warranty if there is a failure caused by the parts ?( warranty that is valid in NZ )

Not sure, but if you look at the ECS website it looks like you get no warranty on genuine parts outside the US http://www.ecstuning.com/TermsOfUse/#product-warranty

Not sure if this also includes their aftermarket parts?

Quote
Genuine products sold outside of the contiguous US are sold as is with no expressed or implied warranty.

Blauparts have said they have a 1 year parts warranty (no labour) but I would need to pay for shipping.

I would imagine its not worth using the warranty in most cases as individual parts are fairly cheap and not worth the long wait/cost.

I guess warranty is important if the part is defective and causes major and spread damage to the rest of engine or other equipment.

If you're going to bring in a few parts from the US or UK to NZ, pay to look at using youshop, I'm finding it alot cheaper than the suppliers themselves, and at the moment if you use coupon "Howabout50" you get 50% off (one time use though).
