I hate white cars

It's a completely irrational hatred I freely admit. My rage has been building for the past year or so and is now manifesting in open disdain and distaste. Even for white gti's, sorry, although not as much.

 I don't dislike the colour white itself, just white cars. I think I need to seek professional help

As stunning as they look when cleaned I think I gotta agree, I've owned a white mk2 and the hassle of maintaining it wasn't worth it. Add this to every new car pretty much being white (corsas and every other car kids my age are financing) I'm getting tired of seeing them everywhere

Hassle ?? You should own a black car. It drove me OCD to clean the bloody black car. Never getting a black car unless mat black

I wouldn't go as far as 'hate' but I'm getting a bit bored of white cars myself too. It'll be like in the early 2000's when everyone had silver cars. They'll be all over the second hand market soon. I think the GTI looks great in white to be fair.

I would not have another black car though - sick of cleaning it! Did it yesterday, it hasn't moved and you can see the dust/pollen sat on it.

Yes I agree I hate all these white cars of all manufacturers but white on a performance car is the sex, they look great wether it's a gti mk5 (like mine) ;) , focus rs, m3 etc etc. so basically white is only acceptable on performance motors I think, so boring all these diesels bimmers, audis, vauxhalls, kias in white    

As for white being a hassle to keep clean I disagree with that hugely, from all the colours I've had silver and white have been the best to maintain, most people just presume because it white it will be a pig to keep tidy. I get these comments all the time, so again    haha

I went straight to a black mk2 after so from bad to worse! Only really had it through the winter though and it rained most of the time so it wasn't too bad

Ordered my Ed30 in Candy White in 2007 when white was deeply unfashionable.

Previously had a white Mk2 Gti and just thought the Mk5 looked 'right' in white.

I still own the car and fully expect white to be out of fashion before I get rid of it.

Personally think it needs to look a bit tasty to suit white...a 1.0 litre Micra in white looks a bit 'Motorbility' to me.

White was the colour I wanted and was planing to go and see, But having had black cars before and new the cleaning problem i still went and brought one
