Why ceramic coat it? Sounds like a good way to fleece customers...

Produces lower IATs...

Course it does. That air spends fractions of a second in that pipe before being sucked into a red hot turbo and then moving onto the intercooler, so surely it's there that you want to spend the money?

The only people that can "prove" that ceramic coating lowers temperatures are the manufacturer and the tuners that are selling it to you. I wonder where their interests lie?

If it's of any help, I noted around a 4C lower IAT with the revo ceramic coated intake vs the twintake on the motorway.
Temps measured with a Polar FIS...

Received it around 4 today and got it fitted it's nice eye candy but the owl has lost its voice compared to the evoms not been out much don't notice much difrence but who would
I should have really stuck with the evoms but iv got it now
If I was buying from scratch I'd still get the revo but prob wouldnt swap the likes of its or evoms to one
See how the rr goes next week though  :fighting:
