Diverter valve
« on: July 18, 2014, 05:20:27 pm »
I removed my dv yeserday to see what condition it was in the bolts looked like they have been on since day one so I don't think it's ever been changed.

I'm at 76'000 miles and I'm going to get a revision G soon.

Just wondered if anyone knows which version this one is? It seems in good condition.

Thanks in advance

That D revision wasn't standard fit on the MK5 GTI so someone has fitted that at some point in the cars life

Not sure mate. My old eddy had a G fitted when bought. My golf R 2010 has a D? Will try a G or might push the boat out and try a DV+

With changing the DV on a K03 GTI and no Jack/ Axle stands is your only option taking the car to somewhere with a lift? Or someone else with a proper jack?

I used a jack axle stand wheel off arch liner off and a 5mm Allen key.

It was fairly straight forward just abit fiddley.
