It's pretty obvious though in a high speed crash a long sleeved shirt/ jumper would save your life.......

Absolutely - and if you wear something of quality, you are even more likely to come away uninjured.

I had slight traction issues

Clutch went didn't it, everyone saw you make very slow progress..

I think as long as you had something that looked like a helmet, you were ok Dan.

plenty there with open face helmets that looked like the supplied ones.
