NQSBBK 986 Brake Squeaaaaal....!

Ive attempted everything to try and rid the noise of the squeal, from the anti brake squeal paste to the pads and shims and not how much success. Can anybody else recommend any otter solutions.
Also do all 4 pot Calipers inherently squeal?

I suspect you haven't bedded them in properly or you are not using them frequently enough with fast road usage.

Mine squealed a lot after they were first fitted then they calmed down and not heard a noise out of them for the last year now. Not looking forward to fittng new pads soon!

Its done 2500 miles between its last mots
In fairness after a few stops it goes away, it's probs just scrubbing off all the water and cleaning products from it's sheltered life

Ive tried the ceretec anti squeal paste with no hope and I've tried shims. I think the last alternative will be a good combination of discs and pads. What everyones experiences and which pads are the most quietest that you have had success with.

Take it out and do loads of highish speed stops. Might fix it

I had this same problem with my 996t setup went through 4 pairs of pads and a disk skim. In the end I used pagid pads and got rid of the squeeling. Also have very bad pulsing of the brakes this was also sorted with the pagid pads. I noticed that the pads that have the weights on them seemed to stop the squeeling.
