New here, looking for a gti
« on: July 20, 2014, 08:35:15 am »
Hi all I've just signed up and looking for a golf gti, have no idea what's a good price for these.
Currently drive a vectra vxr and it likes a drink to say the least. Need to save a bit of cash but not sure what sort of savings il make on a gti so need to do a bit of research first.
I know they hold their value well compared to vx so they are a bit dearer (about 3k over the book price of the vxr) but the tax is 200 quid cheaper each year for a start and I reckon the fuel would be cheaper aswell ( mines the 280bhp). Hoping the insurance will be aswell lol
Seen one near me which looks nice with plenty of extras so going to have a look today.

Cheers

I would try and get a hold of an edition 30 for that money, as you already have the stronger engine and upgraded ko4 turbo etc so easier to tune, I only had around 5k to spend so had to go with a ko3 gti,
