Check Your Factory Spec Against VIN Plate
« on: July 21, 2014, 09:26:22 am »
Just for anyone who wants to know what their car came with when it rolled off the factory floor.

Also handy for someone buying a new car to see what the car currently has compared to what it started with.

The VIN sticker is in the boot!!
Open boot.
Lift up carpet.
Sticker should be on bare metal next to the spare wheel.
It's a small rectangular white sticker with vehicle identity number, type, engine code, paint code etc....

Additionally, this paint code is handy for anyone looking for colour match paint.

Use the following link to check it.

It's also in the first page of the handbook  :happy2:

This thread is useful for new owners who wouldn't know about this. Worth a link into the how-to thread?

Mine are missing from both the handbook and the boot floor. On the boot floor it looks like the previous owner peeled it off!
How hard can it be?
