Had my Monza 2's refurbished at A1 Wheels in Bilston, after 6 months 2 of them have corroded again and now have more white worm than when i originally took them in.

disheartening isn't it....chrome paint (where diamond cut is), and painted inserts has got to be the way forwrd...

Get them soda blasted and power coated. Best results and the powder coat will last a long time. The monzas on my car were sprayed and now there starting to peel so I will be going for a power coat.

Ok thanks for that, I'll get in touch with my local powder coating company...
With powder coating can they do two colours? As I was thinking chrome (where diamond cut is) then painted inserts..so standard looking...

+1 for smoked chrome powder coat.  Have a look at this: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,42652.msg503585.html#msg503585
It's from about three years ago, when I had mine done.  They're still in perfect condition (well, the blemishes aren't the fault of the powder coaters!)

Shadow blue DSG 5 door with leather, sunroof, 18" Monzas, MFSW.
Full list of mods:  Seat inserts and a VW bottle opener.  Each worth 20bhp.
