hey, just thought I would put up a post to say hello to everybody :) I have been looking for a good all rounder hot hatch for a while now and finally on Saturday put down a deposit on a silver 5 door gti. its got full VW service history and only 1 owner from new and near mint! only draw back is its going to need a new catback soon and got 79K on the clock but should be fine as is well serviced.

not got huge plans for it maybe just tint the windows, exhaust, a remap and maybe some ed30 alloys if I can find some

Welcome on board

Any time I see a silver GTi I always think they look cracking. Don't know why and they usually don't look great in photos, but in the flesh they are really sweet.

I would have but spent all my money on the car haha, yea the pics don't do it justice tbh, I was initially after a red one but couldn't find a decent 5door red one and tbh im glad as I love the silver seing it in the flesh

Thanks, I live in Dumfries in the south west of Scotland, getting the car from Newcastle on sat but this week is dragging on and on haha, can't wait to get it

Picking my gti up in 3 hours, is it sad how excited I am? Haha
