Road Angel Connected no question (imo) the best thing out there.
not cheap but depends how much you value your license and I don't mean for getting away with raking it about all over the place I mean doing 34 in a 30 and getting points and a fine

It's around £399 and £4.99 a month

Updates every 2 minutes via a built in sim card (orange network)

The only unit (that I know of) that has 'live' camera warnings - it works by users adding live vans as they pass them and I believe that road angel group add them as they are released on police websites too?

I was near Warwick earier this year doing about 75 on the dual carriageway and the 'live' warning went off - about 10 seconds later I saw the mobile camera van up on the bridge.

Priceless for me!!

I had a snooper back in the day then moved to Road Angel a fair number of years ago - although I never really liked how they looked the database is well known to be among the best. The latest one can't be touched with the unique 'live' feature.  :happy2:

I couldn't find the Zero one you mention, but saw their new Lynx one..

LYNX Airtime Contract

To provide you with up to the second, realtime,  wireless updates Snooper LYNX requires an airtime contract.

There are 3 easy ways to pay using a credit or direct debit card.

Monthly £9.99 inc vat
Quartely £27.99 inc vat
Annual £99.99 inc vat

Pretty expensive monthly contract me thinks

that road angel does sound great, how easy is it for the user to report a mobile camera?

i guess the ease of reporting is what the success of the system is based upon

you get a remote Jay and when you pass a live site you just press the button on the remote and it live updates to all the other users. very simple to use

sounds brilliant but 400 notes + 5/month is a lot for what it is!

Road Connected FTW  :pomppomp:

This is my forth road angel, and I have had this one since it's was launched and it awesome, wouldn't be without it and the £4.99 a month is well worth it for the live updates  :happy2:
