What do you drive Pete?

Nice motor, now I see why you sneaked in with the "same performance as ED30" alongside high mpg!

Best mileage I've ever done on a full tank in my old ED30 was 105 miles. Maybe not the most efficient, but definitely the most enjoyable.........Nurburgring trackday.  :driver:
Golf R gone.

To be fair hurdy, it was your nurberg video that tipped me towards the ED30 instead of the mk5 r32.

You smoked everything on the track!

Typically 300 miles per tank but on long journeys, I've managed 400 miles.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I've hit 0 a few times but it's not great. I had 5 miles left the other day and ended up putting 52 litres in, iirc we have a 55 litre tank

I've put 58 litres in once. either the tank is bigger or the petrol station was over reading!  :stupid:

The manual says approximately 55 litres, so I guess it varies from tank to tank!!

Bet they're skimming a bit on each fill up, was it an independant garage?

Is there an overflow on the Mk5?  Wasn't on your shoes...

Try Tesco / Shell next time... you could uncover a big BP scamming story. :fighting:

I'm sure they are regulated, just don't like BP, overpriced low octane fuel.

I'd been using Vpower for about 8 months now anyway so not an issue.
Was just using BP Ultimate as I wasn't mapped and no point.
I put 58 in at Shell a while ago.
