Can anyone recommend a specialist in the East London/ Essex area.

depends what you need doing mate.

Just need a few bits replaced. Cam follower, dIverter and roof aeriel. Plus DSG service.

Would rather take it to someone who knows GTi's inside out than a main dealer.

You could speak/try Alex of AKS. He is based in Bedford about 1 hours drive from London.

Amd seem to be marmite on here, I had my car remapped there the other day as I can't make it to retch and I couldn't really fault the service

But as said aks have never had a bad word said about them so if you can make the trip...

I'm going to drop it off to the garage today that works on my other cars. They have a VAG tech there and they are very local.
