ITG filter falling apart

Took the filter off today to give it a clean and its literally just falling apart. Not even had it a year
Anyone else had this issue?

Is this a cone or panel filter?
Without traction power is nothing!

I always felt that the foam filters are not as durable as other time tested materials.
Just search for replacement filters and check that the tube diameter matches and you'll be up and running in no time:

Mine is doing the same i need a new one! Check its not falling apart inside you dont want to suck that up

Was it falling apart before itg dont recommend petrol there filters are glued together

ITG does make their own cleaner, but I do not know what the solvent is.

Was falling apart before, itg do say petrol can be used as the adhesives used are petrol resistant
