it might as well be  :grin: its minutes in the car....although now i have over an hours round trip and 1/4 of a tank to get to the next closest..

..they'll miss my business  :grin:

well...they seem to do it a lot around me.

the first time they did it, there was a logical explanation, they changed the rest of the pumps so they all dispensed all four fuels.

this time...god knows why!

It must be for a strong reason - Afterall, they are losing business and possibly longer term loss of those less discerning customers than ourselves who get used to buying fuel from somewhere else meanwhile.

i just run along to the next shell!

it is frustrating though. it seemed to take forever first time round. then the second time about a week.

might have been a pipe or tank that had ruptured, if so...they would dig it up straight away, hopefully without explosion!

My nearest shell garages are 3 miles in one direction and 6 miles in the opposite direction. The closest one is sometimes randomly closed which is a complete PITA. The other one's open all the time but is far, far busier.

My local Shell garage has just re-opened after having everything including the tanks re-done. Maybe the tanks are only allowed to be used for so long?
Now mine is an all singing and dancing station it takes less time for me to fill up and the pumps with V-power now all proudly display 99ron :evilgrin:
