Reverse issue

Ok so i have inop air con I have done a vcds scan and has code for mixer flap motor ,going to remove at the weekend to get the part number anyway two questions first has any one else had their air con not send the "on" command to the compressor due to a fault code being logged in the climatronic on the data display in vcds it shows the command not switching on and cant clear code .Second question and as per title when i put the car in reverse it turns the air vents off until I deselect any one else ?

When you select reverse the car will automatically activate the recirculation function on the heater / air con system. It's to stop you reversing into your own exhaust gasses and blowing them into the car.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.
