I'd just like to introduce myself. The name is Andy, contrary to the user name I'm not the bloke off the telly of changing rooms fame lol
I've just downsized to the Golf GTs TDI from a Chevy captiva, I no longer need the off road ability or all the space it had. I got the GTs in a swap with a dealer in Derby and so far 2 weeks in I'm loving it. I feel 18 again lol. My Chevy was 150 bh but 2.5 tons, as you know these Golf's are so so much smaller, lighter and go like stink ;) I just hope I make the savings I was planning to make with the change before loosing my license lol
I'm not really into all the mods and kits, but I do like to have a valuable back up and resource that a forum like this gives. Not forgetting the banter too :D
So far my only problem is when I collected the car it had 1 key. Now they have posted out the second key. It is identical in every way but it just won't open the doors remotely, the codes are the same printed on the inside of both the keys but I just can't seem to code or synchronise it so it works. Any ideas on how to get it working again will be great, I have put a new battery in and looked online but no luck so far?
