ok hi all i hope i got that title right, the thingy that controls your valve timing yeah?
its probably been a previous topic but im new to this and not good at finding my way around the forum yet!!! so last week i had my cam chain and tensioner replaced due to my 05 plate bog standard GTI suddenly idleing VERY rough n loud and during build up the guy @ VAG technik manchester noticed that 1 of the 3 (piston ring type) rings on the shaft of the control valve was broken
apparently the ring is not sold seperatly!!!! but suprisingly my local stealers is coming up with the best price for the full control valve @ under £90
does anyone know where to source this part any cheaper here is the part number 06F109257C
