Steering wheel restore

Hi does anybody have any advice on restoring my steering wheel?

And also can you remove the vw badge from the centre off the steering wheel? Just had a look but didn't want to try anything Incase I marked around the area!

You cant remove the VW steering wheel badge. Dont try because its attached to the airbag.
