Looks like I've found my boost leak!!
« on: August 03, 2014, 04:18:12 pm »
Took under tray off today for a quick inspection and find both cooler hoses weeping oil but passenger side was basically hanging out!!

So need a new hose now as the lugs that hold it in have snapped/worn off, anyone have an idea of price for replacement?

Or is this the time to go s3 cooler and hoses!

Yeah very common place to have a leak, two new O rings should sort it out, they're only about £1.20 each mate.

I've just done this exact thing on my tdi and the orings were around £4 each.
Prise off the clip, clean up the two hoses and fit your new o ring.
Refit the hose and make sure it is 100% fully flush fitted before fitting the clip.
Mine looked like it was on but the new oring being new meant the hose was just slightly not in its home position and popped off after a short drive.

There is a recent thread with the oring part numbers.

Hope this helps.

Cheers guys I've ordered the o rings.

Trouble is the bottom lug has snapped off the metal piece of the pipe so it won't stay in! New hose needed!
