Would engine run quieter with 5w40? Just for those whom tried w30 and 40.

I guess only VW 502 would be in w40 range as anything 504 is 5w30.

Read on the net that for any VW engine over 180bhp VW 504 should be used. VW recommendation as part of description

What are you thoughts on the following . Both approved  504

Motul specific 504 507 5w30

Fuchs TItan TITAN GT1 PRO C-3


I have no experience with either brand.

Just seeing best options I have :)


Another question :

Is BWA engine designed for long life servicing ( and oil) or not . Meaning would the long life oil be suitable or the 502 grade is better due to extra chemicals in them?
