Ive lost count how many threads ive read on this subject, the pattern of results on this and the other vw websites that I visit all point to many variables as to why some customers are treaded differently to others. Whether I agree or disagree with the reasoning as to why one customer is treated differently to another is subjective, and mostly always in VW's favour it seems.
Some people get 100% success after months of hard work, some get 100% after just one visit, and im very pleased for them......however many many more have and continue to be for the better term "fobbed off" with excuse after excuse from one or more dealerships and VW themselves as to why our cars are not 100% put back to a reasonable condition at 100% cost to them....or even anything reasonably close.
I cannot and wont speak for all on here, but myself has had many many years of proud VW ownership without much cause for concern until now. Regrettably i wont be replacing my Gti with another VW now or any time in the distant future because of the ignorance and lack of empathy from them. Sad times......
