Amd dyno update

Hi guys I was a bit concerned about my stage1 remap from amd , after several members telling me take with a pinch of salt with amd figures ,I decided to go to a independent rolling road specialist in luton .
Amd figures 252bhp

Independent garage run1-   242hp
                              run2-   250hp
                              run 3-  251hp


Very happy with results and very happy that amd are not as bad as people make out

It takes a few runs to get the engines running optimal. I too have an AmD Tuning remap and figures, glad I can be confident in my 265bhp. Thanks for doing this!

I was worried because I spent about 600 pounds at amd on the day !
And when you hear stuff like they make things up ,you get upset lol . I'm very happy with results I did not mention any thing to this company just said would nice to know car running ok lol!!

What brand was the Dyno?

Dyno dynamics are widely regarded as the most accurate.

Not sure what equipment they got but the figures are not far off

I was already running a K&N panel filter and a GFB DV+ upgrade.

Yes that's what they asked me to do

It just allows the maximum amount of air needed for a stage 1 map to really get the max out of it. No need for a full cold air intake at this stage of tuning.

I'm very happy with results runs spot on,never had a problem and it always is on 29.9 mpg
And that's including a bit heavy footed lol
