JEEEEEZ!! If he was going a little faster and that would have been game over!

I would like to point out though:

1) That crater created by the shell is still smaller than some of the pot holes that litter our roads!
2) I assume this happened in either the Ukraine or Russia - i bet that crater is repaired quicker than a pot hole would here in the UK
3) The repair job on the crate would be better than a repair on a pot hole in the UK

Was it a gas explosion? I wouldn't have been standing anywhere near the hole afterwards.

^ Round from where, a helicopter?...

Can't see what else out of shot could've caused it...? - I agree with Luke in that the title might be bollo**s and it was in fact a gas explosion of some sort?  :scared:

Having seen plenty of Artillery rounds land i can safely say that wasn't caused by one! Even on a delayed fuse the impact would have still fragged the car with shrapnel before he hit the resulting uplift in tarmac. You would have seen that hit the vehicle first.

It looks similar to some IED's i've experienced. But without knowing where it has taken place i couldn't say IED or Gas explosion.

Could possibly be an IED then but unless their was someone of value in that vehicle i would go with gas explosion.
