Another caliper gone

I started getting the odd squeal the other week from the rear but it was hard to tell from which side. Washed the car to see which is producing the most dust and it's the o/s. Sunday took the wheel off and had the pads out and gave the caliper a good clean and grease up inc the pad backs and piston. I was able to screw the piston back in but it was stiff (fluid resovoir cap off). Today after an hours drive the squeal is back and the alloy was even hot. Had a look through the service history and they were changed in 2012 @ 70k under the previous owner, so the haven't lasted at all well for a daily driver

I had a rear one cease when the car was at 85k but 2 years is pretty poor, is there some sort of warranty on a part that new? Might be worth asking
