Cheap auto car??

Need a cheap automatic car for my mum for a short while,

Around a 1K budget. Has to be fairly small and economical...

Any ideas??

I can't imagine how slow that would be, but the 6n2 were a solid car.

How about a Flimsy (but very economical and reliable) Jap car: Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris etc.
