divertor valve voulme
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:34:26 pm »
Hi, I have read on this forum that its best to stay away from dump valves as the gti doesn't respond well tho them but was wondering if there is anything I can do to increase the volume of the standard divertor valve?

Sorry I have tryes the search button but there is soooo much about divertor valves it would take months to get through it all

Thanks

Dont think you can do anything to the actual dv but you can change the air intake for more sound

They make a "little" bit of noise (I had one) but it's nominal

well im happy with that as I don't want it to sound like a boy racer but a wee bit of noise when you have the foot in it doesn't go a miss haha

Get the loudest and work your way back if it's too much for you. ITG, Revo and Neuspeed are all rated highly on here. I think AMD have just brought one out too!

I don't rate AMD to much... there products aint to bad but there rollers are awfull, my mate had a 1.8t mk4 and it was remapped stage 1 by AMD to 198 bhp, my mk4 was mapped to 180 bhp and canned his golf all day long by miles
