Detailing method advice.
« on: August 15, 2014, 12:38:41 pm »
Orite guys I've just ordered a load of gear including a das6 pro.
I need a little advice to the steps I'd take, does this look ok?

Rinse
Pre wash
Rinse
2bm wash
Rinse
Dry
Iron x
*Rinse only ok? Or wash and rinse?*
Clay mitt
*Can I just rinse here as the mitt won't leave traces like a clay bar would?*
Dry
Machine polish and sealant.

Does this look ok? What should I do after iron x and claying?

Thanks

I've read it mate, just wondering if I need to wash after the clay mitt as presumably it won't leave anything like a bar would?

You don't need to wash again after claying anyway... you can do but not really necessary... just rinse.

Looking forward to getting it all done.
The iron fallout on my car is terrible. Few swirl marks, don't look to heavy mind.
I've gone for das6 pro and the auto finesse revitalise kit, I wanted something that had everything rather than buying it all separate.
Ordered some jetseal 109 to finish the job aswell.
