RNS 510 switches to SD card on it's own??

When I have the radio on the Rns 510 switches to SD card in it's own sometimes??

Anyone had this problem before?

Also why does it never seem to go loud enough. I can have it at full
Volume and I can still talk to my passengers pretty easily. I've messed about with loads of settings and it doesn't make much difference and also reset to factory settings. :(

I'm sure the original RCD 500 was way louder

i'll put money on it that the RNS you've got was out of a car that had factory fitted amp and the settings were not changed via VCDS before you bought it, thats why its not loud

Ok I'll try another SD card but not sure if that will make a difference.

you need to make sure that you have

no sound system installed

active speakers installed (or some thing like this)

and one more which i forget

the SD card takes the unit over anytime by inserting it, so maybe you have dirty card contacts? and when they make/break the unit thinks you have just inserted new card.
try another good clean card maybe....
