Cold Air Feeds In Fog Grills
« on: August 17, 2014, 03:17:38 am »
Looking to fit some cold air feeds to my car and plan to run them through the fog cover.

Does anyone have any pictures of some fitted and links to the ones they have used, thanks

I removed the boxed item at the grill and the tapered bit that is clamped to the rigid plastic. I the fitted 80mm cold air tube to the tapered bit bring the tapered bit forward against the original intake = works a treat. I 'll throw up a photo later.....

Would you not just use open air vents, or am I missing something?

I like the open vents , but I also like the look of the ducting feed , I need to do one of them but not sure which route to go down .

Open vents on the fogs don't actually cool anything. Air needs to be specifically directed to where you want it to cool, hence the tubes.

Open air vents + ducting to the air filter element and/or brakes is a win/win.

I have removed my fog lights and fastened ducting from behind the fog opening
