RNS-510 Traffic Information - Language

Hi all,

I've got an RNS-510 running firmware version 4020.  All is good apart from a slight issue with the traffic function.

Has anyone seen the traffic information appear in what looks like German?

The roads are all correct, but text such as "Slow traffic for 2 miles" is in German.

I've tried reinstalling the firmware but it's not fixed it...has anyone got ant other suggestion has to how to display the text in English?

Have you tried changing the language to anything other than english, and then changing it back again? I would suggest a language you can sort of understand so that you have half a chance of getting it back into english...

OK - gave it a go - switched the language, turned it off then on again...then switched it back - but sadly still not English. 

Interestingly, in both languages I got the same German language in the traffic details...

try a reset if that fails eddie nl has the rns service tool
