Are you talking about a dash cam?

I use the mini 0801 and I've gone through 3 different cams already looking for the best.

I love this one, quality is amazing and it's so small I fit it behind the rear view mirror so you can't actually see it.

It's also automatic recording so when I plug it into cigarette lighter it starts up and records automatically. Fantastic piece of kit and price is around £85.

Cable can be completely hidden and it runs on a continuous loop so no need to do anything with it ever.

You will need to update the firmware when you get it but it's easy to do.

I've had a dash cam fitted for a couple of months now.  I went for a Blackvue DR500GW after a recommendation from someone at work and an informative You Tube review.

This is the one I've got although I got mine from Amazon:

I've connected it to the fuse box so I don't have the cable running to the cigarette lighter.  It starts recording onto a micro SD card as soon as I switch on the ignition and is on a continuos loop and overwrites once the card is full.  It's also wifi so can download the clips to your phone or watch a live view if you chose.

I use a dash cam, leave it plugged into 12v, records on movement.

Look on YouTube for footage, widely recognised as best bang for buck in the dash cam world!

Careful who you buy off, some are slower copies.

Find a spare fuse way in the fuse box. Cut the croc clips off the cigarette lighter socket, connect red lead to the fuse piggyback thing and black wire to an earth point.  The fuse way I used was switched as I didn't want to use the parking mode on the camera.

That's brilliant.

I'm sure a lot of people using phone chargers. dash cams etc. can benefit from this.

Haha, I hadn't done. I can get some photos of it in the fusebox if you like.

I tried to upload a couple of photos of the camera in situ but even resizing the photos in photobucket they were coming out huge on here

A full how to guide would definitely be a big hit on the forum though I imagine! I've just replaced my dv on a k03 and I noticed none of the guides had photos so I'm going to make one myself tomorrow!
