RNS510 Firmware question

I want to upgrade my firmware from version 3810 on my lcd rns version d to version 4120, i have a version 4120 update cd but i got a error when i tryed using a cd burnt using imageburn, can someone pls answer the following questions.

1 - can i got direct from 3810 to 4120 or do i need to update to 4020 1st
2 - is it ok to burn the disc to cd or does it need to be on dvd using imageburn
3 - when updating do i use the same method like updating the maps ie keys out of the iginition

Yes u can go direct

I would use a verbatim dvd and burn at 1x

Yea, make sure no key in ignition

Something wrong there mate. LCD units were A, B, and early C. If you have a D unit then it should be an LED version.
