Non hub centric spacers

I've been offered a set of 10mm allround non hubcentric spacers, what are peoples thought please.
Are they safe, will I get vibrations.
Also I've read somewhere you can get extenders so the wheel has a lip to sit on,anybody else heard of these or seen them.

Personally I wouldn't bother, 5mm and less are fine but anything bigger I would only go hubcentric. Don't know much about hub extenders but I would be wary.

only way to get them central is to change the wheel bolts to studs and nuts

Dont do it. Its just not safe. The whole weight of the car on the wheels bolts

As long as you spend the time to make sure the wheels are nice and centralised before torquing up the wheel bolts then you'll be fine. The hub centric spacers do not carry any load and their only purpose is to centre the wheel on the hub, this is why they are often soft aluminium, and the reason spigot rings are often plastic.

Mmmmm mixed replys here, obviously I don't wanna be doing anything dangerous as I take my family in the car.
Anybody know how much the kit costs to change over to studs or have a link to the kit.

I speak the truth. The clamping force between the hub and the wheels is what holds the wheel where it should.

The only improvement you'll get from changing to studs is the wheel will be easier to fit, not any safer. The wheel will centre itself as the wheels nuts have a taper on them, just be sure to do then all finger tight then follow he appropriate tightened pattern (miss a nut each time).
